Shishu Prativa, the Odia Children's monthly magazine is regularly published since last 4 years from Bhubaneswar . The October 2010 Puja Special contains stories, poems, mythological and historical stories and topics on science, computer, birds, General knowledge and drawing etc. The magazine is edited by Prakash Mangaraj.

Shishu Sahitya Ra Diga Diganta is a book of Essays on various aspects of Odia Children Literature authored by Dr.Braja Gopal Mohanty. Dr.Mohanty is a well known essayist and Children writer of Odisha. He was awarded Ph.D. on Odia Drama from Berhampur University in the year 1990.
